And there is one more
unique quality the Moshiach [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] will possess, known as morach vada’in, literally, he will “smell [sense] certainties.” He
will be able to understand the essence of a person’s soul, know his spiritual
record, and judge whether he is guilty or innocent.
Rava says [the Moshiach] will be morach
vada’in, as it says, “He will not
judge by what his eyes see… He will judge the destitute with righteousness and
decide with fairness for the humble of the earth” (Yeshayah 11:3).
